Responsibilities:
  • Greets associates and checks ID's to ensure they are park associates; transports associates from designated stops to loading/unloading areas; monitors and ensures the safety of passengers; reports any rider infractions to management
  • Ability to perform pre‘trip inspection of van at the beginning of each shift; refuels vehicle as necessary; assists in the cleanliness and upkeep of work areas (i.e., office, vehicles, transportation stop).
  • Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety
  • Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
  • Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to drive a 15 passenger van on Kings Island Property as well as off property on public roadways.
  • Ability to learn information about Kings Island and the local area to assist residents with information on areas of interest
  • Must possess the ability to maintain composure and possess a pleasant personality.
  • Ability to follow all federal, state, and Kings Island driving laws/rules.
  • A genuine interest in making people feel welcome using your smile and positive natureAbility to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
