RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities of this position will include:
Use lean manufacturing concepts in building product
Maintain all feeders and feeder bases in good working order
Use Quality and Test reports to correct and prevent defects on the pick and place from repeating
Update hand build instructions
Maintain configuration control on all products assembled
Maintain control over material being used.
Perform cycle counts
Solder (Leaded and Surface Mount Components) on CCA's
May be asked to setup, run pick and place equipment
Coordinate/Update pick and place schedule with CCA Lead Technician
REQUIREMENTS
H.S. Diploma or GED
5
years of experience in hands-on assembly of electronic/mechanical equipment
Preferred Skills /
Qualifications:
Previous Surface Mount Technology experience
Small parts electronic assembly experience
Pick and Place machine operation experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills are a critical
Sound grasp and working experience with MS Office Suite
The ability to work in teams is essential
The ability to read and interpret electrical/mechanical assembly drawings is essential
Solder experience required - Solder certification preferred
HOURS:
This position will be on a 9/80 2nd Shift work schedule of Monday - Friday.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
