Field Service and Commissioning Engineer

We are a growing company looking to expand our field service department. We are looking to hire an energetic individual with mechanical aptitude who doesn't mind travel. PLC and industrial combustion experience is a big plus, but we will train the right individual. We are looking for someone who is in it for the long term and someone who wants to develop a career along with us.
A 2 or 4 year technical degree is preferred. This position has a training period of approximately 6 months, during which time the right candidate will go through several training classes and travel with other Service Engineers.
The duties for this position will include:
Commissioning and field service for industrial combustion equipment and controls including routine maintenance, emergency repair, refurbishment, and commissioning new equipment.
Commissioning and troubleshooting of process control systems including some PLC programming.
Oversee the installation of new equipment and programs as required.
Other duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
Extensive travel will be required (80-90%), mostly within the USA, but occasionally world-wide.
Home most weekends.
We offer a competitive salary plus a bonus schedule and benefits allowance. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
